Blog Challenge Fail

I have missed so many days of the blog Challenge already I don’t think I’m going to try to catch up. Today is black Friday and I’m at work. It’s actually dead right now but I’m not complaining. My thanksgiving wasn’t the best but at least I wasn’t working. I hope everyone’s thanksgiving was great. I will be doing vlogmas this year a so there will videos posted on here throughout December.

Week Two // Lifestyle Change

This is a picture I took the other night I wanted to share.

So things went down hill this week. Eric and I fought quite a bit so in return I suffered with depression. I was at the lowest point I’ve been at for awhile but during those low points I spent a lot of time writing in my journals. During that time I finally decided how I was going to go about some of my changes. I’d like to post them here as well.

First off as for the getting healthy I have decided to only have one soda a week. I have decided to not eat chocolate at all, which will be easy for me because I don’t really care for chocolate anyway. As for dieting,  I have chose to do low carb eating. Pretty much just limiting the amount of grain I intake.

Second off, exercise.  The most dreaded of them all. We always make excuses to keep from working out. I decided to make it fun. I am doing Zuma and dance fitness. I use YouTube mostly for the videos. It’s fun and easy to follow plus it’s an amazing workout.

Third and finally I have decided to write in my journal daily to help with my thoughts. I am going to make an anger journal. I found the idea on youtube. I have major anger issues so this journal could be good. The idea of the journal is to write down all your negative thoughts and feelings. Then destroy the page some how. Like color over it. Draw a picture over it or something. I think it could work.

Week one // Lifestyle Change

So far it’s been rough getting started. The exercise and healthy eating is killing me. I really need to try harder. As for being positive, I’ve been trying to look at everything different and I’ve been helping a few friends work through some relationship stuff and just generally being nicer. Trying to not get upset about stupid thing, which is surprisingly hard for me. I took a few steps to feel more confident in myself and to feel pretty again. I got my ears pierced and I am wearing earrings again in my bottom holes.

My relationship with Eric still isn’t 100% but we are working through it. We are talking about things more and spending more time together. So overall the first week has been ok. Ready to tackle week two.

Day one // Lifestyle Change

So far today went well, obviously because it’s day one and I am still excited for the changes. I woke up earlier than I usually do when I have to work open and had breakfast at home instead of McDonalds. I also remembered to take my vitamins and did a few yoga poses to help me get ready for my day.

Even though my day started out terrible with my husband yelling at me and putting me down I am not going to let this mood I’m in go away. I am tired of always feeling depressed. It’s exhausting. From now on I’m just going to let the negative comments from him roll off my back. I just wish I had him as a supporter it would make this so much easier but I can do it on my own.

Time for a Lifestyle Change

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the fact that my life isn’t nearly how I expected it to be by this time. There are many things I wish to change but I have always just kept putting it off and putting it off. Well now I’m ready to accept what needs to be done and change it. I know it’s going to be a hard and long process but for my health and for my family things need to be done. I have compiled a list of things that I need to change and I wish to share it with you all. If any of you are struggling with these things to please feel free to comment below and we can coach each other through it. The reason for my change is because I’m tired of feeling sluggish, unworthy, unconfident and just depressed most of my days and I’m hoping by doing some lifestyle changes it will help me, my physical and mental health, my love life and my relationship with friends and family. I will be posting daily and or weekly about my progress. Even if I fail I feel that documenting this will help me. I will also be keeping a journal.

Well here is my list of things I need to change/get better at.
1. Be more positive
2. Eat healthier
3. Do some kind of physical activity a day
4. Take vitamins everyday
5. Be more motivated to keep house
6. Get more sleep (even if it’s an hour nap )
7. Spend less time plugged in (limit facebook, instagram, games etc)
8. Eat more meals at home
9. Be more considerate to others feelings
10. Cut down on sodas and junk foods

I know I’m able to do it with right amount of support and motivation. I am just terrified that I am going to die at a young age like my mother and I fear that my husband doesn’t want to have children with me because I’m over weight and it’s a higher risk. Plus I feel he deserves a better housewife. Please tag along with me on my journey.

Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum // Experiences and Review

My husband and I went to the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum last night and did 3 flashlight tours and the haunted house. The flashlight tours were totally worth the money. Once we entered the lobby of the hospital it just felt strange. Some of our experiences included hearing foot steps, seeing kids and smelling something burning. The haunted house was amazing this year. They did the scaring by groups. It was awesome. The black light maze with the clowns was probably the best.

I was allowed to take pictures while inside and so I did. The following are a few of those pictures.

The picture above is Emilys room. She is one of the most active spirits. There is another active spirit named lily.  She is more active.

We had a great time and it was so worth the money. The most amazing this was seeing kids pop out from behind the doors in the children’s wing and hearing laughter. Going to make this trip a yearly one.
